Comments: We recently moved into an older home that needs some work. The family room was in desperate need of a makeover as it had commercial grade, grass-cloth wallpaper that had been painted over on the walls. We attempted the DiY of removing the wallpaper. Needless to say, it did not come off easily and the drywall scarring was extensive. We were not skilled in repair and skim coating so we decided to look for a company that had the expertise. Danny Brown answered the request on HomeAdvisor within 15 mins and was onsite the next day to assess and quote the project. Although we were worried, Danny was not! He gave us some great tips to finish the removal and said that he had availability the following week to start. Danny told us not to worry and explained what he was going to do and estimated what it would take. Danny showed up on time and had all the tools he needed. He started on a Thursday and finished on Saturday midday. Danny opted to work on Saturday just so we could finish up and get to painting. When he finished it was like we had 4 new walls in the family room! His work was impeccable and he came in on-time and at what he estimated. I've dealt with many contractors in my 20 years of home ownership and I would rate Danny in the top 2 best I ever dealt with! I would absolutely use him again and I would absolutely recommend him. He is an expert in his trade and is extremely personable.

After talking to several other people I had just about given up. Dan was so straightforward. He came exactly when he said he would. He reassured me that the plaster ceilings in my home were fixable. Within about six hours, the ceilings were completely restored! The price was more than reasonable. There was no mess to clean up. Dan and his coworker were both friendly and extremely professional. Dan did the job with exactly the amount of material that was estimated, was very timely in getting the work done and was every bit as courteous and professional as anyone could ask for. Dan is friendly, outgoing and knowledgeable in his discussions about what the options are, and very willing to do what it takes to make the job bearable for the homeowner. The work was very good (outstanding actually), and the amount of pre-painting touchup was minimal as compared to other contractors I have dealt with. This was an overlay job, which is always a challenge, and the finished job could pass for initial installation. We brought in Dan to finish the drywall that had been started as well as a guest bathroom that hadn't yet been started.
